Why I Switched to Battery-Operated Tools

I’ve been using corded tools for years, but I finally made the switch to battery-operated ones for a job last month — the freedom of movement and reduced tripping hazards made a noticeable difference in our efficiency and safety on site. Just curious if anyone else has experienced similar improvements or drawbacks with this transition?

I switched last year and love the freedom! Just make sure to have extra batteries for longer jobs. Have you tried any specific brands yet?

Going battery-operated feels like switching from a horse and carriage to a sports car! I’ve noticed better maneuverability, too — especially in tight spaces. @laythom, have you found a brand that really holds up under pressure?
