Robotic total stations for high-rise layout

Anyone here using robotic total stations for interior layout on high-rise cores? We ran a Hilti PLT 300 off ACC model points on a 28‑story office in Dallas — accuracy was solid, but setup/calibration took about 45 minutes per floor; is a Trimble RTS or similar meaningfully faster, or am I overworking the workflow?

On our last tower we cut setup to about 15 min by installing three permanent targets per core bay and using Trimble FieldLink’s ‘Autostation’ resection on the RTS — no traverse, just quick sight-in and go. If you stay on the PLT 300, the same approach with fixed targets and resection helps just as much; it’s more about control than brand. @OP are you running a single backsight or a three-point resection right now?
