Innovative bridge designs you love

I’ve always been fascinated by the innovative designs of modern bridges, especially the use of sustainable materials. For instance, the reuse of old steel in the Millau Viaduct in France not only enhanced its aesthetic but also made it more eco-friendly. What are some unique bridge designs you’ve come across that prioritize both functionality and sustainability?

The Millau Viaduct is a great example, but have you checked out the Golden Gate Bridge’s recent retrofitting for better earthquake resilience? It’s like giving a classic car a modern engine — still iconic but way more responsible — what do you think about modernizing historic structures for sustainability?

I really like the use of recycled materials in bridges too… The Eco-Bridge in Slovenia is another cool example, where they integrated the landscape into the design. It’s like Mother Nature just gave a high-five to engineering.
