I’m currently working on a mid-rise project and I’m exploring innovative materials that enhance structural integrity without adding significant weight. Has anyone had success with any specific composites or advanced concrete mixes that they’ve found effective in similar projects? I’d love to hear your experiences or recommendations.
But , this drives me nuts too! I’ve had decent luck using fiber-reinforced concrete for mid-rise projects; it’s lighter and really boosts the strength. You might also want to check out some recent advancements in polymer composites.
Advanced concrete mixes can really make a difference. I’ve had success with high-performance concrete that includes additives like silica fume; it not only reduces weight but offers excellent durability. Have you considered testing that out in your next core sample?
